KIN6005 Statistical Analysis Studio

Credits & citation

Created by Jacob Goodin, PhD, Goodin Performance, for KIN6005 statistical analysis education.

Software implementation was assisted by OpenAI Codex. Visualizations use D3; the interface uses React. Example datasets are synthetic unless you upload your own data.

Methods and reporting

The question-mark buttons, assumptions sections, and APA reporting guides explain the methods and limits of each analysis.

APA reporting guide

Use the results as parts of a report. Explain the study design, variables, units, missing data, and assumptions. Include effect estimates and confidence intervals where available. Do not invent an interval that this tool does not estimate.

Report exact p values to three decimals, or p < .001. Omit leading zeros for probabilities and correlations. Use italics for Latin statistical symbols; keep Greek symbols upright. Precision should suit the measurement scale.

APA Tables

Bring in a results table, edit its headings and values, then download an editable Word table or a 300-dpi PNG.

Synthetic group summaries, draw 941. These are teaching values.

Values and decimal places are preserved. Use consistent precision within each column, label confidence intervals, and replace rounded p = .000 with p < .001 only when the underlying result supports it. Review title case and notes before submitting.

3. Edit cells and headings

Edit table (2 rows × 4 columns)

To remove or rearrange rows and columns, edit your source table and import it again.

4. Preview and export

Note. These synthetic data illustrate the table format. Replace them with your results.

The preview scrolls horizontally on small screens. PNG always uses black text; its background can be white or transparent. Word and clipboard output use a white page.
